Outstanding Wade Boggs game-used and autographed bat dating from his tenure with the New York Yankees (1993–1997), gradedGU 9 by PSA/DNA. Manufactured by Louisville Slugger (model B349), the bat displays use consistent with Boggs’ trademark hitting precision. The bat displays outstanding use, including numerous ball marks, stitch impressions, and cleat marks, with pine tar residue on the handle. Boggs has added his signature to the barrel as well. A five-time batting champion and Hall of Famer, Boggs was a key offensive force during his Yankees years, including their 1996 World Championship run. High-grade, authenticated examples of Boggs game bats from this era are increasingly scarce, particularly those combining strong use characteristics with an exceptional autograph. A superb game-used relic from one of baseball’s most consistent hitters, ideal for any advanced Yankees or Hall of Fame collection. Full LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
