Description

Each comes with a Full LOA from Phil Wood. Although the 1993 Philadelphia Phillies season culminated in heartbreak, the National League squad still earned top billing in the Senior Circuit. Offered is a pair of game-used items worn during the 8/1/93 “turn back the clock” contest against the Pittsburgh Pirates. These equipment pieces are each fashioned after the 1933 Phillies uniform. Includes:

Wes Chamberlain Game-Used & Signed Batting Helmet: size 7-3/8 with left ear flap. Signed on the brim in black Sharpie (“9”, Full LOA from James Spence/JSA) and the helmet is uncracked and in excellent condition;

Ricky Jordan Game-Used & Signed Jersey: Mitchell & Ness Cooperstown Collection size L with 5-button front and set-in sleeves. 100% polyester and survives in excellent condition given that it was only worn once. The player signed the front right shirttail in red Sharpie (“9”) with an Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA;

Note: A full video of the game with each player wearing these items is available on YouTube.
