Lot # 1154: 2010 Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez Washington Nationals Signed and Inscribed Game-Used Bat with Ivan Rodriguez LOP

Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez Louisville Slugger M9 signature-model ("C353") bat dating from the 2010 season. The bat, which is not cracked, displays light use along the barrel, including multiple ball marks and ball-stitch impressions. Etched on the knob is a date ("7/2/2010") and bat length/weight ("34/31.5 OZ"). Rodriguez has signed the bat and written the inscription "Game Used" in silver marker on the barrel. Rodriguez's jersey number ("7") has also been written on the knob in silver ink. A small (approximately two-inch), section of the top wood layer on the handle appears to have been intentionally removed. A letter of provenance stating that this bat originates from the Ivan Rodriguez collection accompanies this lot. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
