Description

Offered is an Adam Dunn Louisville Slugger signature-model ("B345") bat dating from the 2004 manufacturing period. Graded GU 9 by PSA/DNA. The PSA/DNA letter states: "Outstanding use with a crack from the handle to the barrel that has been repaired. Player number (44) is written on the knob and top barrel." In addition to the "44", the model number "B345" also appears on the knob. Dunn has signed the bat in bold black-ink on the barrel. Numerous ball marks and ink transfers are visible and a coat of dried pine-tar exists on the handle. This bat provides a tangible connection to Dunn’s powerful 2004 season, a period when he established himself as one of the premier sluggers in Major League Baseball. Dunn notably hit 40 home runs in a season six times (including five times in a row from 2004 to 2008) and would go on to hit a total of 462 home runs throughout his career. Length: 34.75 inches. Weight: 32.4 ounces. Full LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA (for the bat only). Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
