Exceptional Bernie Williams game-used bat dating to approximately the 1996 season, a championship year for the New York Yankees, graded GU 9 by PSA/DNA for outstanding game use. Manufactured by Louisville Slugger (model C243), the bat exhibits heavy game wear, including numerous ball marks, stitch impressions, cleat indentations, and extensive pine tar along the handle—hallmarks of a well-used gamer from the Yankees’ star center fielder. The barrel bears a signature, which has been reviewed by JSA and deemed “inconclusive” regarding authenticity. This remains a superb and authentic example of a heavily used Bernie Williams bat from the heart of the Yankees’ late-1990s dynasty. Williams was a key contributor to New York’s resurgence, earning multiple All-Star selections and Gold Gloves during this period. An outstanding, high-grade game-used bat representing one of the defining figures of the Yankees’ 1990s championship era. Full LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA. No authentication for the signature, deemed inconclusive. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
