A tremendous treasure from a revered Hall of Famer arrives, with this Brooks Robinson signed and inscribed 1976 Baltimore Orioles game-used bat. A Louisville Slugger Genuine K48 Robinson signature model, this fantastic gamer is impressed on the barrel with a Bicentennial logo, featuring the Liberty Bell. Authentic characteristics and and excellent signs of use are evident, with contact marks and baseball stich impressions on the barrel, a cupped barrel end, pine tar residue on the un-cracked handle, and Robinson's uniform number "5" written on the knob.
A 16X consecutive Gold Glove winner, and 15X consecutive AL All-Star, Robinson has signed on the barrel of this bat with a decent degree of potency, and he has included the inscription "1977 Game Used". Robinson's illustrious career was coming to an end, at the time he used this bat. The labeling period is confirmed as 1976, an undeniable origin in light of the distinctive Bicentennial logo, and accompanying certification. His 1977 inscription indicates he still had this bat during his final MLB season, and it has to be one of the last bats he ever used. PSA/DNA has assigned this prize bat a game use grade of GU 9.5.
Full LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA, and notarized Official Brooks Robinson Collection COA for game use.
