These size 36 Wilson Indiana Pacers shorts have a “34” tag on the Wilson tag as well as “41” written to the side. The shorts have lots of game-use, including Pacers ABA championships in 1972 and 1973. The style is from 1972-1975. The small yellow stripe introduced in 1972, went to a larger swath in 1975/76. The original number is #34 (Mel Daniels), the secondary number is #41 (Len Elmore/rookie year 1974/75). Consignor said he purchased them under the belief that they were Len Elmore's rookie year shorts, possibly passed down from Hall of Famer, Mel Daniels.
