Description

The fourth game of the 1933 World Series was like a microcosm of the Series itself, which New York won four games to one, with New York Giants pitcher, Carl Hubbell hurling his team to a win over the Washington Nationals at Griffith stadium. Player/manager Bill Terry also added a home run.

This “Official Souvenir Score Card World's Series 1933” features the Capitol dome and Joe Cronin and Bill Terry, managers of the two teams. The cover has a nice colorful appearance, and the scorecard is in Excellent condition. The inside includes photos of the Commissioner of Baseball and other executives, as well as composite photos of the two teams superimposed on baseball diamonds. The center scorecard section has been neatly scored. Starting players included Bill Terry, Travis Jackson, Goose Goslin, Heinie Manush, Joe Cronin and Mel Ott.
