Description

Ticket takers go all in for this 1968 World Series Game 2 full ticket. It was the year of the pitcher, and while 1968 NL and AL Cy Young Award winners Bob Gibson and Denny McLain were participating, Tigers lefty Mickey Lolich was the big story. Lolich hit the only home run of his MLB career in the third inning of this game, in support of his dominant performance, which ended in an 8-1 Tigers win. This was the first of 3 complete game wins for Lolich in the 1968 World Series, which led to him being named Series MVP. Lolich got ample support from teammates Willie Horton and Norm Cash, who also blasted homers in this game. PSA has graded this attractive, vintage ticket a respectable VG-EX 4.
