Commemorate the Baltimore Orioles first ever postseason appearance, when you claim this October 5, 1966 World Series Game 1 full ticket. Hosting this contest, were the reigning champions, the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Bluebloods were a pitching rich squad with Hall of Famers Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale and Don Sutton, joined by the reliable Claude Osteen in their four-man starting rotation. Drysdale took the hill for this Series opener, and he was struck with a serious case of the Robinsons, as in Frank and Brooks, who hit back-to-back home runs in the first inning, laying the foundation for a 5-2 Orioles win. PSA has graded this attractive ticket EX 5. The Orioles went on to sweep the Dodgers, for their first World Series championship, including the fifty-plus years the team was known as the St. Louis Browns.
