The Curse of the Bambino struck hard, when the St. Louis Cardinals put a nightmare ending to the 1967 Boston Red Sox "Impossible Dream" season. The knockout blow came with a decisive 7-2 win in Game 7 of the World Series. From this Cardinals clinching triumph, comes this October 12, 1967 World Series Game 7 ticket stub. The Cardinals fierce ace Bob Gibson won Games 1, 4 and 7, surrendering a miserly total of just three runs across three complete games, to merit Series MVP honors. For good measure, Gibson belted a home run in the fifth inning, and teammate Julian Javier gave him a big cushion with a three-run blast in the sixth. PSA has encapsulated this vintage ticket stub with a grade of VG-EX 4.
