Description

Recall a thrilling postseason pitching performance, with this 1967 World Series Game 4 full ticket. This memorable Fall Classic featured the St. Cardinals versus the Boston Red Sox. The Red Sox dreamed an "Impossible Dream" all season long, but despite a valiant effort in the '67 World Series, the Cardinals gave them a wakeup call came in the form of Hall of Fame hurler Bob Gibson, who recorded complete game wins in Games 1, 4 and 7, to earn the Series MVP award. Gibson wasn't the only story. Lou Brock hit .414 for the Series with 8 runs scored and 7 stolen bases, and Roger Maris was heroic as well, batting .385, with 7 RBI. It was all Cardinals in Game 4, as they scored 6 runs, while Gibson blanked the Sox through nine innings.
