Signature specialists make a sweet score, with the capture of this "Dizzy" Dean and Paul Dean dual-signed cut. As the winningest pitchers of a deep pitching staff, the Dean brothers were vital to the 1934 St. Louis Cardinals "Gashouse Gang" winning the 1934 World Series. Well-suited for framed display, this sturdy 6" x 3-1/2" cut was clipped from a vintage scorecard. Both Deans have signed distinctly on blank background areas of the cut, with Paul (d.1981) in the upper region, and "Dizzy" (HOF, d.1974) in the lower region.
Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
