Description

This Official Program from Doubleday Field – “The Birthplace of Baseball” - Cooperstown, NY is from the Baseball Centennial and dedication of the National Baseball Museum and Hall of Fame, June 12th, 1939. The Hall of Fame game played that day featured Honus Wagner's team versus Eddie Collins’ team. The unscored program is in GD condition and features (“9-10”) signatures on the page before the scoring area by Morris Arnovich (d.59), Frank Hayes (d.55), Syl Johnson (d.85), and Wally Moses (d.90).

The program is accompanied by a First Day of Issue envelope postmarked “Cooperstown, NY, June 12th, 1939” for the Centennial of Baseball (EX-MT).
