Description
Hall of Fame manager Connie Mack (d.1956) displayed his gentlemanly nature with this signed handwritten later. Boldly written and signed on a sheet of Philadelphia Athletics letterhead, Mack's brief correspondence is a kindly response regarding an autograph request. Mack's neat and distinct writing appears on a sheet hand dated "August 22d 1944". Folded twice vertically and once horizontally, this crisp page has been trimmed to dimensions of 8-1/2" x 7-1/4".
