Description

A clash of titans is recalled with this 1958 World Series Game 7 full ticket. The combatants for this October 9, 1958 winner take all game, were the New York Yankees and the Milwaukee Braves. Many great players participated, including Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra and Whitey Ford for the Yankees, and Hank Aaron, Eddie Mathews and Warren Spahn for the Braves. These same talent-stacked teams met in the previous season's Fall Classic, with the Braves outlasting the Yankees in a hard-fought, seven-game series. Revenge was sweet for the Yankees, as this time they were the last men standing, in another tremendous seven-game battle. Series MVP Bob Turley earned wins in Games 5 and 7, and he also picked up a save in Game 6. Game 7 home runs were struck by Bill Skowron and Del Crandall. PSA has encapsulated this handsome full ticket with a grade of EX-MT 6.
