Description

Circa 1958-1961 Baltimore Orioles #33 (Eddie Murray's retired number!) game-worn home jersey with a "laughing bird" left sleeve patch. Absent of a collar tag, based on jersey parameters, this zippered front flannel possibly belonged to Jim Busby, Jim Finigan, Dave Nicholson, or Bob Saverine. There's a size "42" tag on the left-front tail, where a Wilson factory label, and a cleaning instructions tag also reside. The front "Orioles" and front/back number patches also remain vibrant. With exception to the tag removal, this jersey is very clean. In reference to the all-important "laughing bird" patch, the LOA states "In this case the patch, which frequently is either missing or threadbare on the bulk of vintage Baltimore shirts, is original, and while in less-than-perfect shape, is complete." Phil Wood LOA.
