Description

Recall the Milwaukee Braves only championship season, with the examination of this 1957 World Series Game 3 full ticket. Featuring the Braves versus the mighty New York Yankees, this game was played at Milwaukee County Stadium on October 5, 1957. Though the Series win would go to the Braves, this Game 3 was all Yankees. Mickey Mantle hit his 9th career World Series home run, and rookie Tony Kubek went yard twice during this Yankees 12-3 win. The biggest blast for the Braves came off the bat of Hank Aaron, who belted a homer in the fifth inning. This series would turn out to be the only championship for Aaron.
