Memorable moments from the career of the great Willie Mays come into view, with the presentation of these (6) vintage Type I photographs. Dating from 1956-1962, these crisp, clean 3-1/2" x 6" deckle edge prints span the transition of the Giants from New York to San Francisco, including a couple of shots of Mays from the 1957 final season in New York, along with scenes from Major League baseball's main stage events.

Headlining this offering is a photograph of Mays in a batting pose at the 1959 All-Star Game, which is encapsulated by PSA with a Type I Authentic designation. A handwritten identification on the back reads "Tues, July 7, 1959, Forbes Field, Pittsburgh All-Star Game, Willie Mays, San Francisco Giants".
