This piece is part of an exceptional autograph collection offered in this auction in which legends of the game recount their most thrilling memory. For Baker, he writes: "My biggest thrill came in the 1911 Worlds Series, with the score 1 to 0 against us I hit a home run off Mathewson to tie the score. Sincerely, J. Franklin Baker."
