Lot # 754: 1933 Pittsburgh Pirates Team-Signed Official League Baseball with (12) Signatures Including Honus Wagner & Waner Brothers with Full JSA LOA

Although the 1933 Pittsburgh Pirates came up just short of the New York Giants in representing the National League in the World Series, the 87-67 record was a decade's best for the historic franchise. A dozen members of the squad have etched the offered Official League (Wagner-Taylor) team-signed baseball. The moderately soiled sphere with scattered abrasions throughout is lightly etched with a blue steel-tip fountain pen. Despite the faint quality of multiple signatures, the legendary script of "The Flying Dutchman" is quite legible.
