Lot # 845: Hall of Famer Signed Index Cards/Government Postcards (5) with Goslin, Manush & Wheat

An exciting selection of Hall of Famers is served up with these (5) signed flats. Four of the subjects were elite .300+ hitters, and the fifth subject was a well-respected manager. All departed to the "Field of Dreams" long ago, and all are considered prime collecting targets.

Featured are:

"Goose" Goslin (d.1971) on a government postcard dated April 23, 1937;

"Heinie" Manush (d.1971) on a trimmed government postcard dated January 25, 1969;

Zack Wheat (d.1972) on a index card.

George Sisler (d.1973) on an index card.

Walt Alston (d.1984) on a government postcard dated July 2, 1956.

The Goslin signature is slightly faded but clearly discernible. The other signatures are sharp, with the Wheat example presenting as especially bold.
