Lot # 20: Babe Ruth Single-Signed Baseball - Full JSA LOA

Outstanding Babe Ruth signed baseball featuring Ruth's blue fountain pen signature executed perfectly across the sweet spot. The manufacturer's stampings are visible on multiple panels, revealing "Westland's" as the manufacturer of this "League Special" baseball. The baseball displays a consistent level of toning throughout, providing nice contrast with the signature. A few tiny surface imperfections are visible, including a small one on the last two letters of the signature. Also present on a side panel is a small hole, which in our opinion is evidence of the ball having once been mounted in a display. These minor flaws do not detract from the presentation value of this baseball, however. This remains a very desirable and pleasing example of a Babe Ruth signed baseball, ideally combining a strong signature with solid display value. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.
