Description

Trio of vintage photographs depicting three members of the circa 1910-1913 Chicago White Sox, highlighted by Hall of Fame pitcher Ed Walsh. Also included in this trio are second baseman Rollie Zieder and pitcher Doc White. Each of the photographs measures approximately 7-7/8 x 9-3/4 inches and displays slight silver gelatin finishes across the fronts. The backs are blank with pencil notations of name, team, and position. It is our opinion that the offered photographs are period issues but would likely not qualify for Type I classifications from PSA/DNA and are more likely Type III examples. The photographs display as Very Good to Excellent overall, with light wear present along the edges and at the corners. The White example would grade more modestly due to a heavy diagonal crease near the bottom. An attractive trio of deadball-era photographs for the Chicago White Sox collector! Total: 3 photographs.
