From the estate of the late, great Bob Gibson, comes this personally owned trio of 1980s trophy gifts. Respected as a fierce competitor, Gibson was a 2X World Series championships, earning Series MVP honors in 1964 and 1967. He was also a 9X All-Star, a 9X Gold Glove winner, the 1968 NL MVP, and ultimately, a Hall of Famer. With Gibson’s considerable talent, it’s natural that he collected lots of hardware. This group demonstrates his never-ending love for the game, as he stayed involved during his post-playing days. All (3) items report in like-new state and come with display stands.
Featured are:
St. Louis Cardinals World Series replica ring with teammate and fellow Hall of Famer Lou Brock’s name on the right shank, comes with a round plastic stand with gold lettering that reads “1967 World Champions St. Louis Cardinals”;
Boston Red Sox The Equitable Series Old Timers Game massive ring, and wood stand with an engraved plate on the front that reads “Boston Red Sox Fenway Park May 14, 1988”;
The Equitable Old Timers Series 1989 pewter bat, and wood base with “Bob Gibson” engraved on a plate at front.
