Score a top-ranked example, with the acquisition of this 1933 Street & Smith The Shadow #35 (volume 6, #5) pulp magazine. Long secluded by a devoted collector, this antique issue comes to market freshly returned from grading submission. CGC has graded this well-preserved pulp 5.5, Cream to Off-White Pages. This satisfying rating places this better grade magazine at the top of CGC's Population Report, as "1 of 1", with none higher. Issues from the Shadow's first year of print in 1931, are quite scarce, and issues from 1932-1934 are cited as uncommon. Dated August 1, 1933, this issue falls squarely in the uncommon date range. Label notes credit the creators as "Cover by George Rozen, Tom Lovell art, Walter B. Gibson story".
