Description

An early effort by super-creator team Joe Simon and Jack Kirby is spotlighted, with this 11/40 Novelty Press Blue Bolt #6 issue. Simon and Kirby teamed-up for work on many classic Golden Age characters and titles, including Blue Bolt, Sandman, Manhunter, Boy Commandos, and most famously, Captain America. This inaugural year Blue Bolt comic predates the release of Captain America Comics #1, and stands as one of the revered team's earliest productions. Attesting to the rarity of this seldom offered issue, CGC has graded just six examples to date. This one is graded CGC 7.0, placing it as "1 of 1" on the Population Report, with two higher.
