Description

“One of a Kind” is the way to describe Don Larsen's performance in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series, when he pitched the one and only World Series Perfect Game. This program from Game 5 of the Yankees versus the Dodgers is in exemplary EX-MT condition and is partially scored with zero hits clearly noted. Don Larsen has signed the cover with a nice (“8-9”) signature and the inscription, “Perfect Game 10-8-56.” Some strong (“9-10”) signatures have been applied to the photos and bios inside, including Duke Snider, Don Newcombe, Carl Erskine, Clem Labine, Hank Bauer, Enos Slaughter and Gil McDougald. An item of historic quality.

Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
