Lot # 1086: Hall of Famers Signed Index Cards & Flats Collection (8) with Chief Bender & Tom Yawkey

Chief C. A. Bender signed envelope postmarked, Philadelphia, PA, January 31, 1947. The envelope (VG) was neatly opened with a letter opener. The Native American legend has applied his signature (“9”) and return address, 5431 So. 12th St. Phila -41 PA, on the envelope flap.

Tom Yawkey signed 3 ½ x 5 paper. The executive’s signature is “8-9”.

Five signed index cards: Sam Rice, Ed A. Walsh, Wahoo Sam Crawford with dated inscription, “Sept 28. 66 - To Robert with all good wishes,” Harry Hooper, Zack D. Wheat. Cards are EX or better, signatures avg “8 to 10.”

Max Carey signed 4 x 6 ½ Exhibit card (VG-EX) with “Sincerely" inscription (“8-9”).
