Description

Each of the cities of the historic Braves franchise are represented in this group of (7) full size pennants. From the early 1950s through the 1970s, they include:

Boston Braves:

Early 1950s white on blue “Boston Braves.” Excellent condition, no pinholes.

Milwaukee Braves:

1950s blue with realistic “Chief.” Excellent.

Mid 1950s featuring “Milwaukee County Stadium - Home of the Milwaukee Braves” and Chief Noc-A-Homa (possibly one of first with the mascot). Excellent with no pinholes.

1957 Milwaukee Braves National League Champions” with the Braves head surrounded by the names of the players including Aaron, Mathews, Spahn, Burdette and Crandall. (Haney MGR) in scroll below. Good condition with one tassel missing and eight large pinholes.

Atlanta Braves:

Circa 1970 blue with Chief Noc-A-Homa. Excellent with no pinholes.

Early 1970s red and white on dark blue featuring Chief Noc-A-Homa and Atlanta Stadium. Excellent.

1970s “Hank Aaron Home Run King” red and black on white featuring a large artist image. The pennant is an EX-NM beauty.

Before the day when you displayed your loyalty with expensive team merchandise, waving a simple felt pennant was the classic way for a fan to support their team. The pennants in this group come from the estate of Mike Cubbage.
