Lot # 1288: 1958-1963 Hartland Baseball Statues (5) with Fox, Mantle, Mays, Ruth & Williams

A select eighteen immortals made their way into the classic 1958-1963 Hartland Plastics baseball statue series, and here we have nearly one-third of them, with this selection of (5). These regal knights in shining plastic are Nellie Fox, Mickey Mantle with bat, Willie Mays, “Babe” Ruth with bat, and Ted Williams with bat. Graced with clean, white to off-white uniforms and bold accent colors, these attractive figures show average EX-MT to NM+ details, with deference to traces of adhesive under the shoes. Showing a light trace of adhesive on the top hand opening, the Williams piece does not stand freely due to a slightly curled base, the others need no help in rising to the occasion. It is undetermined as to whether the bats are original, mismatched, or replacements, but all in all, these guys look good.
