Give a big nod yes to this 1961-1963 Mickey Mantle real face, white base bobble-head doll. Only a chosen few Major League superstars were issued in the real face series, and the elite New York Yankees centerfielder had to be one of them. This radiant shelf-sized icon is a very attractive example, worthy of an (EX-MT) rating. The gloss and paint are very pleasing, and display appeal runs high. Standing in the way of a NM+ grade are a small break and a spot of foreign matter on the base decal, and two hairline cracks, with one in front of the left ear, and the on the right side of mouth. The hairline cracks are barely perceptible to the naked eye, and totally unobtrusive to the impressive appearance of this fantastic figure.
