"Let's play two", with this 1958-1963 Hartland Ernie Banks statue. This 7" icon of the upbeat "Mr. Cub" is accompanied by an original factory box, with a facsimile Banks signature printed on the top and bottom flaps. Also present are a bat, and a hang tag. The statue is a very pleasing (EX-MT+) example, with an off-white uniform, and bold blue paint accents. The red logos on the cap and jersey remain full, and the statue stands freely, though it is noted that the soles of the shoes are tacky, with a thin layer of adhesive residue. The handle end of the bat has a small bit broken off, but still fits snugly into the hands. The hang tag has a couple of creases, and the box displays a decent shape with moderate wear, including a 1/2" tear at the top of the front panel.
