This group of (11) Detroit Tigers pennants from the 1950s all have mostly the same theme – Tigers and Briggs Stadium. The artist representation on each pennant is different. Tigers are seen leaping, growling, playing the bases, jumping above the stadium, lying in groups below the stadium, and in one case, a huge tiger is hugging the stadium. There is one pennant that features a ballplayer, but no tigers. These full-sized pennants average VG-EX condition with only one missing a tassel.
What kid didn’t have a pennant on their wall? A simple felt pennant was the classic way for a fan to support their team. The pennants in this group come from the estate of Mike Cubbage.
The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
