Description

Inject some old-time style into your collection, with this 1950s salesman's sample Chicago Cubs home uniform set. This unworn flannel uniform is comprised with a jersey and pants, presenting in exceptionally fine condition. Located inside the collar, is a Wilson Sporting Goods Co. size "46" factory label, with laundry instructions for the care of this 100% wool garment. A large red and blue Cubs logo patch on the left breast is consistent with the style worn by Cubs players from 1943-1956, while the label inside the collar is cited as being of a type first used in 1957. Seen on the back are blue felt number "11" patches. Also made of 100% wool, the pants are unadorned, save for a Wilson Sports Equipment size "40" factory label inside the waistband. Clean inside and out, this vintage uniform is blessed with tremendous display appeal.
