Description

The 1959 Baltimore Orioles paced the American League with 12 shutouts en route to a respectable 74-80 mark. The offered team photograph depicts those '59 O's in their since-razed Memorial Stadium setting. Issued by Gunther Beer (which had a sizable ad atop the center field scoreboard), the colorful piece is wood framed to 38 1/4 x 26 1/4. Among the notable subjects are Ernie Harwell, Milt Pappas, Hoyt Wilhelm and a youthful Brooks Robinson. Good condition with some overall wear and rippling, but still with pleasing visual appeal.
