Lot # 1291: 1959 Horne's Department Store Pittsburgh Pirates Booster Club Team Composite with Roberto Clemente

The 1959 Pittsburgh Pirates were flying high when Home’s Department Store issued this 8x10 Booster Club team composite photo. The Pirates, of course, went on to win the 1960 World Series. (28) members of that team are featured, floating head style, including the great Roberto Clemente. Also includes. Bennie Daniels, Curt Raydon, Glenn “Rocky” Nelson, Ted Kluszewski, Bill Mazeroski, Dick Groat, Dick Stewart, Don Hoak, Dick Schofield, Gene Baker, Harry Bright, Bob Skinner, Bill Verdon, Hank Foiles Roman Majias, Forest “Smoky” Burgess, Bill Hall, Danny Kravitz, Danny Murtaugh. The photo is in Very Good to Excellent condition with some browning and no creasing.
