With solid credentials that included a robust .477 batting average for the Minneapolis Millers, Willie Mays was summoned by the New York Giants on May 24, 1951 and never looked back. This Mitchell & Ness New York Giants home jersey is tailored to the specifications of the garments Mays wore in Harlem that summer and autographed by the Hall of Famer. The cream-colored flannel button-down garment features “GIANTS” arched across the chest in black-on-orange felt and “24” sewn to the back in like fashion.
