Longtime Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers owner Walter O'Malley returns to the light, with the presentation of this boldly signed index card. While it was heartbreaking for Brooklyn fans, O'Malley's relocation of the Dodgers to Los Angeles in 1958 was a major boon for the MLB game, as it opened up the important west coast market, paving the way for many teams to come. O'Malley passed away in 1979 and he was posthumously inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2008 for his contributions to the game.
