Description

Waldo, Arkansas product Travis Jackson is brought into play, with the offering of this single-signed baseball. A heavy hitter for a shortstop, Jackson was considered one of the best at his position during his 1920s-1930s playing days. His .291 batting average and a fair number of extra base hits helped earn him a spot in the Hall of Fame, as a member of the Class of 1982. Suffering from Alzheimer's disease, Jackson passed away in 1987, so it's been four decades or more since anyone scored an autograph from him. This pleasing example of his signature is located on the sweet spot of an attractive Official League baseball.
