Description

Thanks to a super-talented roster there were plenty of opportunities for this 1950s Brooklyn Dodgers National League Champions pennant to have been deployed. In fact, the Dodgers captured four NL pennants during the '50s, before they relocated to Los Angeles after the 1957 season. An attractive example of a seldom seen type, this full-size pennant is adorned with an unusual depiction of the Brooklyn Bum mascot at left, and a more traditional batter spotted in the lettering. There's the suggestion of pinholes at the endpoints of the wide end, and the blue background is a bit muted, but the lettering and graphics remain full and bright, and the point integrity is more than decent, earning this felt flag a grade of Ex+.
