This 1936 Yankees World Series Program is a clean example that retains some whiteness and gloss, only grading VG-EX because of the light fold in the middle. Best of all, it has been immaculately and darkly scored for Game 3, in which the New York Yankees beat the New York Giants, 2-1. It shows Lou Gehrig hitting a home run, his 7th career World Series home run, and Joe DiMaggio going 1 for 3 with a double in his third career postseason game. For the Giants, Mel Ott went 2 for 4. and Bill Terry went 1 for 4. The program is accompanied by a newspaper clipping of the box score from the New York American.
