Description

Frequent World Series participant Casey Stengel is honored by this 1922 New York Giants World Champions 10K gold commemorative ring. As a player with the Giants, Stengel was a 2X champion in 1921-1922. While serving as manager for the New York Yankees, "The Ol' Perfessor" earned another Seven World series rings during the period 1949-1958. Fronted with a .5 carat white stone (non-diamond), this throwback style size 9 ring is engraved with "C. D. Stengel" inside the band. The center stone is set inside base paths. Amid various design elements, are banners on the shanks that read "Giants World" on the left, and "Champions" on the right. Also appearing on the right in relief numbers, is the date "1922". A faithful recreation of the ring given to 1922 Giants players, this gleaming treasure has tested positive for having a 10K gold composition, and the total weight is 19.25 grams.

Ring is accompanied by an identification letter from a licensed jeweler/appraiser.
