Baseball's most iconic figure gets reverent recognition, with this 1936 Babe Ruth Hall of Fame induction 10K gold commemorative ring. Though just a single season removed from active play, Ruth was selected for the Hall of Fame's inaugural 1936 Class, as one of the first five inductees. This well-deserved tribute was afforded in recognition of his tremendous fame, and his historic impact on the game.
Weighing in at 30.1 grams, this radiant size 9 ring is marked 10K on the interior of the band. A .25 carat white (non-diamond) stone sits atop a black stone centering the face, surrounded by the straight to the point legend "Baseball Hall of Fame". The left shank is adorned with a "Babe Ruth" banner, followed by a depiction of the Cooperstown museum and a shield that reads "The National Baseball Hall of Fame". Decorating the right shank, are crossed bats and a baseball, with "Outfielder" above, and "Elected 1936" below. Wear is negligible, and this magnificent piece presents handsomely, thanks to outstanding craftsmanship quality.
Ring is accompanied by an identification letter from a licensed jeweler/appraiser.
