Attending a Brooklyn Dodgers game, you might run into Heavyweight champion Joe Louis who was good friends with Jackie Robinson since their Army days. This 1949 Brooklyn Dodgers Program and Score Card is partially scored for the 8/30/49 game that Brooklyn won, 4-3, versus Pittsburgh. Gil Hodges went 2 for 4, with a home run (career #33) and two RBI's. It is in VG-EX condition, and the front cover features an (“8-9”) signature by the great “Brown Bomber,” Joe Louis.
