Manufactured by Reach, this antique baseball is stamped on a side panel with a facsimile signature of the AL’s founder and first president, Ban Johnson. It’s not every day that you come across a 100+ year-old baseball, and this one satisfies with respectable condition quality. While the Reach logo is partially faded, the other labeling remains fairly distinct. The surface is lightly toned, the red and black stitches are tight, and the Johnson signature favorably reports as the boldest of the factory stampings.
