Go big to claim one of the all-time greatest sluggers when you set your sights on this Jimmie Foxx single-signed baseball. The second member of the 500 Home Run Club, Foxx was one of the rare sluggers who walked more than he struck out. He certainly lived up to his nickname "The Beast," bashing 1,100+ extra-base hits, including racking up exactly 100 of them during the 1932 season, his first of three MVP campaigns. Though the factory labeling stamps are faded beyond recognition by the naked eye, JSA examining equipment has confirmed the baseball to be an OAL/Harridge model, which shows considerable toning, and several abrasions that do not affect the signature. Foxx has signed on the preferred sweet spot of this ancient baseball, and his distinctive signature merits a "5.5" strength rating.
