Connie Mack's last great dynasty is remembered with this 1930 Philadelphia Athletics team-signed St. Louis Browns scorecard. The A's were in the midst of a three-year run of consecutive World Series berths that saw them win championships in 1929 and 1930. This antique scorecard (FR) is a worthy relic of this long ago monster squad, which was loaded with Hall of Famers and star players. The addition of 17 signatures on the front cover makes this ancient game-day relic infinitely more important, especially considering that all of the signers passed away decades ago.
Signature strength averages "7" to "8" with: Al Simmons, Eddie Rommel, "Pinky" Higgins, Eric McNair, Wally Schang, Charlie Perkins, Jim Moore, Joe Boley, "Mule" Haas, Ray Mahaffey, Homer Summa, "Rube" Walberg, George Earnshaw, Earle Mack, Jimmie Foxx, and Eddie Collins.
Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.
