On December 6, 1930, the visiting Notre Dame Fighting Irish capped a perfect season and were ultimately crowned National Champions after blanking the hometown University of Southern California Trojans 27-0. In was also Knute Rockne's final game as Notre Dame head coach as he would be tragically killed in a March 1931 plane crash. The offered 32-page program from that contest is a welcome proposition for college football historians. The moderately worn inner pages are slightly attached to the original staple binding with the unmarked roster centerfold being separated. Otherwise, the vintage publication presents in overall very good to excellent condition. Coach Rockne is pictured on pages 7 and 10.
