Lot # 1744: 1930s Primo Carnera Original Type I Photo Group (3) with Joe Louis - All PSA/DNA Full LOA

Primo Carnera’s menacing demeanor won him roles in Hollywood movies including “Mighty Joe Young.” These (3) Type-I photos each have appropriate notations and paper attachments on the back and average GD-VG condition.

Each is accompanied by a Full Letter of Authenticity from PSA.

1)  1930s Wide World photo 3 7/8 x 7 ½.

2) 1934 Acme Newspictures 6x8.

3) 1935 Associated Press 7x9, with Joe Louis at the weigh-in, shaking hands, emphasizing the height difference by Louis standing on a box. Joe Louis won by TKO in the sixth round.
